Great day, Bruno was great getting us on 4 of the coasters before lunch! Adrian went on his 500th coaster Mammut. Lovely hot weather, excellent theming around the whole park. Great lunch with so much choice and lots of it.

Peter & Becky Jackson
Amazingly hot weather! Wonderful theming... and AMAZING water rides! Especially 'Fuga da atlantide'. The water rides were our saviour from the heat. Also, the new trains on Magic Mountain made the ride much better! Thanks to Bruno for his time and enthusiasm in guiding us around the park. A wonderful lunch was provided for us. Thanks Gardaland for everything.

Dave Hall
What a park! especially thanks to Bruno, best European park host we have met :) Also good job Vekoma, we cannot believe how good the new "soft" trains are on the corkscrew.

Hans Zieleman
The park was great with very nice theming. The tour we got from Bruno was fantastic, we went on four coasters before opening to the public. Magic Mountain was a great success with the soft restraints (no head banging). Fuga da Atlantide was very nice as well.

Cheri & Bob Armstrong
A very hot day at a very nice park. Our host, Bruno, was the best. We so appreciated all the rides he arranged for us. We rode our first S&S Screaming Squirrel, The Sequoia Adventure, surprisingly enjoyable. We enjoyed our day at the park, and our wonderful lunch.
Bob nearly got stopped for "maybe" being over 50, which would mean he would not be able to ride Blue Tornado. We unconvincingly convinced the operators he was under 50... :)

It's definitely summer in Italia... Bruno was an excellent host who got us ERS on four out of the five coasters in the park... the fifth was a Vekoma SLC so I can understand no ERS on it... but I did get the credit... 15 new coasters on my trip so far 613 total... and I will do Germany in 2011 with the Great ECC!!

Yvonne Janik
WOW! We had such great perks at Gardaland thanks to Bruno! Even after arriving late at the park because of traffic issues, we still had all the ERS the park had offered as well as two additional coasters. So we rode 4 of the 6 coasters and had a dark ride competition within an hour and a half --- so fun!

Great theming. Delicious food. Interesting coasters. And our wonderful host, Bruno! It all made for a spectacular visit. The 95F/35C heat did appear to make some people wilt, but I didn't think it was so bad. I had a magicial time.

With such a gracious host as Bruno (no, not that Bruno!) escorting us on our own little private tour, how could I not like this park? I finally got to ride the Screaming Squirrel (aka Sequoia Adventure) not once but twice and loved this insane piece of steel nonsense. I'm very grateful to my daughter Aura for lending me her suncream - without it the Italian sun would be frying me. Also, Gardaland has a total of 14 toilets - some were ok, but some were just bog standard (sorry). Had yet more salad for lunch (although this time it was accompanied by other less healthy stuff like an Italian tart (and you can keep your smutty comments to yourself).

Bad corkscrew coaster - OTSR + New neoprene vest restraint = Fun new corkscrew (clever idea!). Fun new corkscrew + trip badge trapped under forementioned neoprene vest coming undone = new body piercing (not so clever idea). A little tip for those visiting the Hoover Dam. Join a guided tour and then ask to go to the toilet. Whilst in there soak all your clothes in the sink and then go running back to the group screaming. It'll make your trip more exciting (nothing to do with this trip admittedly).

Matt Sturgess
I have been on 84 coasters, 83 of them have fewer than seven lift hills.

Peter Oakes
The corkscrew was rough just before entering the third inversion. The corkscrew was rough as it entered it's third inversion, it rattled me from side to side. The dark rides were good, especially the boat ride, the queues were long for the water coaster, and the sequoia adventure was a silly ride i think. Didn't bother with the tornado.

Mette Doving
Had a nice day at a great park. big thanks to bruno for all the ers and walks ons. the Vekoma was really a good coaster with those new restraints. Have tried the blue thingy before, but did not remember how bad it was, really need some new restraints on that one!!!!! Really good food for lunch. hatt en fin dag i en bra park.

Gardaland is a really well-themed park. While none of the coasters may make top 10 lists, they're all at least fun. And almost every ride in the park has top-notch theming. Special thanks go out to Bruno for the private tour of a bunch of the rides, after traffic got us there later than expected. And their version of Fastpass helped some of us skip the lines on many of the rides, allowing us to get on almost everything in the park that wasn't realy just for little kids. Contrary to popular opinion, I actually enjoyed the SLC. I didn't really think it was THAT rough. And the extra helix at the end of the ride really added to the layout. The kiddie coaster was a ton of fun, and a record setter with a whopping 7 lift hills, although several of them were only a foot or two tall. I'm definitely not counting Fuga da Atlantide as a credit on my coaster count. It's a great, very well themed ride, and it pretty much meets all of the requirements to be a coaster, but it FEELS more like a log flume to me, with no real section of the ride that feels like a coaster does, like on the Journey to Atlantis rides (which I don't count) or Poseidon at Europa Park (which I do count.) But I could definitely see ow people could count it.

Really enjoyed the day, beautiful park and great weather. Enjoyed having 3 rides on my first coaster of the trip, Ortobruco - Chris only managed 2 before getting off! Justin says it has 7 lift hill thingies, one day I'll find out what that means... I was all up for going on Blue Tornado after that but Chris for some reason wouldn't let me, so we compromised and did the tractor ride instead!

My 2nd visit to Gardaland - but it has changed a lot in 7 years- for the better. Bruno was a great guide - getting us on four coaters by midday. And for me all four were new layouts: Mammut is a great mine train, Magic Mountain a (re)-rideable looper/corkscrew (with its new trains & restraints), the 7 lift-hill kiddie coaster, and of course the insane Sequoia Adventure. Is the last actually a rollercoaster?? More like a rollerbreaker. It got my ultimate accolade for a ride when I yelled out "oh sh**" at the same point on each of my 2 rides !!
Great food at lunchtime. Still not keen on the dear old SLC (Blue Tornado) and I thought Fuga de Atlantida was disappointing - though very well themed.

Gardaland once again - a really beautiful park (as it has always been)! We really loved the idea of a guided walking tour to the coasters (a big thank you to Bruno!) But the highlight was the new Vekoma trains on Magic Mountain! So we send greetings to our Dutch friend Tonny Schonewille, who works for Vekoma. You all at Vekoma did a really great job! So hopefully all the parks with a Vekoma sitdown coaster will change their trains now!

Allen Hite & Bob Wetherbee.
Out first trip to Gardaland was wonderful. We never thought that we would reride a Vekoma looper. The new trans are great and every park with an old Vekoma should get them. Many thanks to Bruno of Gardaland for his hospitality. His tour of the park and arrangement of rides before the GP made our day. We saved so much time and got to spend more time on everything else. We appreciated all of our gardens and green areas. Seqouia Adventure was alot of fun, much smoother than we expected and no pain :) Now off to the hotel and hopefully cold beer.

Audrey and Lars.
Third day and the Colsons are still having having fun. One of us has managed to become medium rare. The other has reached 450 coasters! Fuga da Atlantide! Great lunch and beautiful park! Very clean and friendly - thanks Bruno!

Sophie and Even Stangebye
Wow! What a great day! Beautyful weather, nice park, tasty lunch and great rides - even a reridable Vekoma looper thanks to the new trains. These new smooth-rolling trains with good(!) restraints should be mass-produced, and sent out to ALL existing Vekoma sitdown coasters in the world! This was our secend visit to Gardaland - the last time at Christimas time a few years back. Thanks to Bruno for excellent guiding! We'll come back to Gardaland!!!

Well, much to say. Squirell was better than expected. Blue Tornada was worse than expected. The bottom 5 of SLC's if there is such a list. Mammut was pretty good fun, despite the Disney mutation into some kind of Arctic theme. Full marks to Bruno for helping us in that oh so important first part of the day. A great time.

Celia Horwood
Let's start by thanking Bruno for the great walk back admidst the crowds. Mammut is cute and the kiddy coaster is a real hoot! Blue Tornado was such a piece of s**t. Great lunch. This park has beautiful grounds and was much larger than I thought it to be. All in all, it was a really fun day.
