Great start to the trip, great selection of shows & rides, Magna was fun and the best ride in the park.
Peter & Becky Jackson
What a suprising park. Respect!! Fun rides and made us both smile many times.
Hans Zieleman
Enjoyed the park very much, but got soaking wet on several rides.

It's great to be back on an ECC trip. As always thanks to Kevin for planning a trip to Italy, and Justin for leading us. Movieworld Studios was fun, a knockoff of Universal Studios.
Hi Tim, Shaki and baby Oliver.

an.... interesting park! some things well ripped off, some things not well ripped off from certain major American brands.
Rob Derman (Robnoxious)
I love being on ECC trips!! Great parks I would never think of on my own... definitely unique in its cheesiness but it was so much fun...

"Copyright Infringement : The Park". Still, many tiny details were fun - and playing "Spot The Reference" was very enjoyable
Yvonne Janik
I enjoyed the sunny, warm weather and the fun, quirky park. It had many changes since my last visit in 2005.

In memory of kevin, who organised this trip. Kev, you'll always be remembered mate. As for Movieland, it was fun, naff and utterly charming in equal measure. A simulator which bounced along to the 'Birdy Song' being a particular favourite. And just for my wife Isabel, I had a SALAD in the park for lunch (and I have witnesses to prove it!) Love to you and little Aura.

Motion-sickness, bad Fred, ripoff, intentional soaking, mullet, no pole-dancing bikini-clad girls, still scary and overall fun (Have been asked to keep the reports to a few words. Hoping that's not too many)
Mette Doving
Nice little park. Totally soaked on the truck ride. Fun ghost walk thru, totally scared teenage girl in front.
Matt Sturgess
Quite a good little park, not without its charms, copyright violations, or hastily cobbled theming in places. Good haunted walkthrough that is definately worth doing there.
Michael "Prestissimo" Horwood
Amazing what you can do with a little bit of FREE (?) copyright. Nice to ride the old W. Edmonton Mall "Drop of Doom" freefall here in its latest location. Fun time, but need about 3 days to explore the park fully.
Celia Horwood
A word to the wise on the new truck ride - if you want to get really wet, ride the left side! Backstage ride is low capacity. Great views from the Freefall. Nice ice cream. Beautiful setting.
Paul Hindle
Odd start at a park with no real coasters - the one they have must be the smallest powered coaster in the world!
Despite that a very enjoyable afternoon, and the weather turned out nice (again).
Andreas and Mechthild Namyslo
After our private Scandi - and England-roundtrip we are looking forward to visiting some more parks with the club in Italy.
Movieland has improved since our last visit but four hours in this park is still enough for a visit as the park still needs some good rides (coasters). Greetings to all our friends.

So how many movies can Movieland rip-off? I think the bad movie rip-offs were half the fun though. A nice start to the trip but ready for some coasters.
Bob Wetherbee
Enjoying meeting all the new people. Ask Yvonne about her loo experience.
Audrey Colson
Enjoying my first ECC trip. Getting to meet everyone and enjoying the company.
Sophie and Even Stangebye (Norway)
We met the group at Movieland after getting wet at the next door Aqua Paradise.
Got wet anyways due to heavy rain, thunder and lightning in the morning! This is my 4th ECC trip, and Sophie's first!

it was worth visiting movieland for that retro freefall ride. the view of Lake Garda added much to it. The Tomb Raider had a crap programme. As I wrote this we passed through a spectacular gorge on the way to Bolzano. .

Day one was an interesting expierience entering the licensing Twilight Zone that is MovieLand. A park that is just on the right side of bad, with its "school production" of Terminator and 5'5" Darth Vaders asking you to have your photograph taken with them.
Completely worth visiting however for the retro drop ride, Hollywood Action Tower, which "pushing you off the edge of a cliff" mechanics provides a fantastic free-fall experience. Worth of note also is the Magma all terrain vechicle ride with lack of rails and runners to guide the vehicle meaning you are completely in the hands of the driver not having a bad day and driving too close to the explosions) Day one of the Italy tour: success.

Well, I'm here and exhausted after a week in Naples, Pompeii and Rome, with stops in Toronto (BEHEMOTH!) and the gorgeous Zurich on the way. I've been up all night taking a bus, plane, bus train and bus to meet up with the ECC bus in Verona.
Movieland is an interesting mishmash of all of the movie rides and parks you've seen elsewhere. Tomb Raider - the last ride to still have the name (who knows if they actually paid for the rights though?) - was probably the best ride in the park, though several of the rides were actually better than I was expecting. The view from the monorail of Lake Garda was gorgeous, even if the ride was pretty boring. The biggest hightlight today, however, is the awe-inspiring view of the Dolomite Mountains on our bus ride to our hotel in Bolzano.
