Bon Bon Land was our third park of the day. We had visited twice before, so had done most of the coasters on previous trips, however we were looking forward to riding the new Gerstlauer spinning coaster, Han Katten. After an hour perusing the rest of the park, and having another excellent hot buffet meal, we had an ERS on Vilde Svinet and Han Katten. We only rode Han Katten during the ERS, partly because we enjoyed it so much, and partly due to Vilde Svinet getting a bit rougher than on previous visits. Han Katten, like many rides at this quirky park, was really fun, and "interestingly" themed. The spinning was amazing, by far the most "spinny" coaster we have done for a long while, and the music in the station was addictively catchy too. The park's owner greeted us, shook our hands and gave us all complimentary park baseball hats. We then left for Copenhagen, with many of us heading out for an hour in Tivoli Gardens to take in the magical atmosphere. Four parks in one day...tiring, but real Scandi fun!

We visited three parks today, although we think Bon Bon Land was one of the best. We has a fantastic ERS on Han Katten, which was great fun. We enjoyed experimenting with the amount of people in the cars depending on how much you want it to spin. We found all the weight on one side worked best! Everyone will agree, the music and theming in the park was fantastic too! Very very addictive! The park owner was very nice, greeted us on the way in & gifted us with hats too. What a tiring but fantastic day!!

Han Katten is unquestionably the best spinning coaster I've ever been on!! When you get someone who unbalances the weight excessively (like, say, Martin Valt), you spin like crazy. Awesome!! The dinner was good too, and our host, Michael, was truly gracious. It's just a bit too bad we didn't have more time here, but how can you argue with spending an evening at Tivoli?

Bon Bon Land is a great, wacky park. Having ridden the other three coasters on three previous visits, I concentrated my efforts on Han Katten, arguably the BEST spinning mouse on the planet. Once you figure out the weight distribution, you're in for a dizzying experience. Basically picture a waltzer (tilt-a-whirl) on a coaster track. It was great to meet park owners Michael, Linda and Teddie (their dog). Always a good time at this place!

Derek Cromarty
Have we stopped spinning yet?

Maggy Linka
I'm still spinning from my single ride on Han Katten! Staggered off the ride, never to return. WOW. Bon Bon Land was a good-weird sort of place with some of the strangest statues I've seen in an amusement park The Butterfly coaster and Dog Fart kiddie coasters were truly unique. Bon Bon was the third park of the day for this fun-filled adventure. Doing a bit of shopping now for "must have" souveniers before flying home tomorrow.

BonBon-Land. Too much to do, not enough time. But ERS on two great Coasters Miaooooo!

Mick Fryer-Kelsey
Djurs, a beautiful park. We had a walking tour to the mouse, Thors Hammer, rather like G'sent Sau at tripsdrill. A topple tower called the Eagle, very different and great fun. Did all the coasters, definately need more time here.
Frieden, full of rides. 3 coasters and good themeing, a beautfiul park.
Bon Bon had certainly changed since my last visit, what a difference, they have some great rides and a fantastic spinning mouse we both loved. Again, not enough time, but a great park.

Liz Fryer-Kelsey
Djurs: great themed park, could have spent longer here.
Frieheden: small park, with a good selection of rides, for all ages.
Bon Bon; very colourful themeing, we could have stayed they for longer.

Djurs Sommerland was an awesome park but we did not spend enough time there. Tivoli Friheden was an awesome park but we did not spend enough time there (dj vu?). Bonbon land was an awesome park but we did not spend enough time there (Dj dj vu?) I look forward to the next trip there where we'll hopefully have more time to enjoy all these parks. A final stop at Tivoli gave us the opportunity to see the park at night, and yes, this park was awesome too, but you already knew that!

Chris Hull
4 really nice park in one busy day. Djurs Sommerland and Tivoli Friheden had a lot to offer but we didn't really have enough time to appreciate them fully. Still we'll be back I'm sure. Bonbon Land was as wacky as ever. A final evening at Tivoli to chill out ended a busy day.

Cal Jones
Three great little parks today - could have spent half a day at each of them. Djurs had great themeing and Thor's Hammer looked really good. Managed to skin my knee when Chris knocked me off the swinging log with his fat ass but hey ho, all part of the fun! Great ghost train at the second park, and the swinging Mondial ride was a lot of fun with the lunatic ride op. Bon Bon Land was the highlight, though! Had an absolute blast there and they have a real winner with Han Katten. My head is still spinning!

(Parks X 3) + ECC = FUN. Great fun but it has to be Bon Bon for the most laughs generated in such a short time. From poo and fart jokes to the amazingly spinny Han Katten MEEEEIOOEE!! What a hysterical time. Can we rebrand the magazine to FIRST PLOP please?????

Martha Andrews
I laughed lots!!! All the parks were great, and very cute. Great day!!!!!!!!!

Crap, big tits, farts, and vomit pretty much sums up and exciting hour at BON BON LAND. Very cleverly themed almost like Benny Hill meets LOONY TOONS. The other two parks were great too but I'm too busy playing with my Dog Fart Farting Machine.

Bill 'Voodoo Amps' Buckley
A very LONG but fun day. All the parks were brilliant fun. Only draw back was the sheer lack of park time to explore all the nooks and crannies. BonBon Land was a great way to close out the day's trifecta.

Mette Doving
3 parks day today. All nice parks, but way to little time in all of them. First time at Bon Bon Land, it's a great fun park. Loved the theming. Now it's of too a late hour at Tivoli.

Nina Kleppe
First we went to Djurs for a morning ERS on Thors Hammer. Than it was Tivoli Friheden. Had a fun time in Bon Bon Land, and got my first Butterfly Credit. Great ERS on Vildsvinet and Hankatten, a fun spinning Coaster.

Patrick Flumet
Longue journee aujourd'hui. Djurs Sommerland pour commencer, Tivoli Frieheden ensuite, et enfin Bon Bon Land. Les trois sont supers mais le dernier est le meilleur. dommage d'avoir eu si peu de temps pour visiter chacun d'eux.

Coastin' Carl Ragan
Djurs Sommerland and Tivoli Friheden were neat little parks nestled away which indeed deserved more time. Bon-Bon Land however did not deserve any more time and perhaps the time we had was appropriate. I rode my first butterfly coaster today. I like Heege's rides. I bought you some candy at the famous Bon-Bon Land BTW. Tivoli Gardens tonight - supposed to be a sight to see at night. 4 parks today, wasn't too bad, a little weary though before Ireland and Norway up next.

Andy Costin
Great parks, far too little time to explore them :-( Hopefully we'll be back sometime. more good hospitality from Bon Bon land and more free beer for those p**s-heads amongst us.

Terry Jarvis
Four parks in one day? Too much fun, not enough time!

Rob hill
I could easily spend a full day at each of the three parks we went to today. The weather was perfect, too. So this was one hell of a great day! Tivoli next!

Tim Galvelis
3 parks in a day, wish we had more time at each, but the weather cooperated, and we managed to have fun. The first 2 parks were complete surprises to me, and I'll definitely be back. Bon Bon Land will always be the craziest park that I've ever been to.

James "Spinner Hannaford
4 Parks in one day Must be a first for the ECC but don't quote me. All parks today were good and derserve future visits maybe spending more time in each. Bon Bon Land was Mad but had an excellant spinning coaster. It was nice to see that they had it back up and running after the fire last month. Last was Tivoli Gardens at night and what a sight and really puts all theme parks to shame Keep up the good work and I believe we have saved the best for last.

Peter Oakes
Thor's Hammer was good at Djurs. Troubled waters was well themed. At Tivoli Friheden the Pinfari was rough, the fire brigade roundabout was fun. lots of dead roaches in the boating lake. BonBon Land Han Katten was very good, and the Dog Fart coaster was well themed. Tivoli's Rutschbanen was very spectacular even though it was very old. Demonen was fairly good, the dark ride the effects were good on the snow queens palace.

Torrence Jenkins
Bakken scenic railway was a true joy to ride. The amusement park was truely like stepping back in time. It was intersting to find out that all the rides and restaurants were individually owned. Tivoli Gardens once again a true joy all around.

Andy Wright
This was one of them parks which reminded me of Paultons UK a nice childrens park with a Gerstlauer Bobsled coaster called Thor's Hammer. We had a ERS on this and like Cobra it was smooth and slow but I liked that more as it was early. It could have had more time maybe return. I also must say like yesterdays park, which I wrote nothing on, the familys were in having breakfast and picnics.
The second park of the day and just a short time. I manged to get the 3 coasters in and watch as others did the Sky Drop ride where you are dangled and dropped into a net. The park was nice and one I could do again if more time.

David Cornell
Today is coaster credit day. 3 parks, 10 coasters, with no time to really enjoy the parks. I do like to do this type of run, especially wen the coasters are all new. Too bad I did not work up my nerve early enough to do the SCAD tower before we had to leave Tivoli Friheden in Aaborg. It was only 50DKK which is about $9 US. Now we are driving to Bon-Bon Land. My long awaited ride on the Dog Fart coaster is near.

Today's the big three-park day...Djurs Sommerland, Tivoli Friheden and later today Bon Bon Land. Djurs treated us to an ERS on Thor's Hammer, a Gerstlauer mouse. We then had an hour to explore the Big Apple coaster, the Huss Topple Tower and the many other attractions. djurs is a lovely family park and it will be nice to spend more time there on another visit. Friheden is a town park, located in a beautiful wooded part of Aarhuus. Three coasters ridden including a Zamperla spinning mouse and a painful Pinfari looper. Now headed to Bon Bon Land for more crazy fun.

Lisa Scheinin
Credit Hound Heaven today! Two new parks with a total of 5 new coasters (plus one more yet to come tonight)! Even better, both parks were surprisingly good: large, well landscaped, and full of surprises. I could easily have spent much more time at each. Djurs Sommarland has a gorgeous mini golf couse I was aching to try. Tivoli Friheden has a short but superb dark ride we were lucky enough to squeeze in. Well done, Justin!

B. Derek Shaw
Today we visited three parks, two that were new for me. (That feat getting harder and harder for me these days.) Djurs Sommerland is really quite nice with a great assortment of rides inluding the new Gerstlauer mouse, Thor's Hammer. The Jungle Cruise was old, but fun. Tivoli Friheden is located within a city park. It has three OK coasters, a short but superb Ghost Train and a bizarre scout jump tower. Didn't have time for that, although it looked fun. More later.

Derek Cromarty
Three parks in one day? I thought you said we're having three pints in one day! Cheers. In a nutshell, great, good and I'll get back to you after we visit the third one.

Today is our busiest day for visitng multiple parks. We have gone to the first two. Djurs Smmerland was similar to Farup, lots of great activites for families with children. The Gerstlaure mouse was fun, a nice ride for that park. The second park was Tivoli Friheden. We had about 1 1/2 hours to ride the three coasters. Luckily the park was not crowded, and we had no problems riding all three coasters. It was a small city park, very nicely kept up. We would have enjoyed more time at each park, but are glad for a short visit.

Three parks in row. I never get to Jylland, so this was special, even for me as a dane. Definately the shortest I've ever been to a park with a wristband. Liked Tivoli Friheden best. It's more of a "ride" park than Djurs is. Last one is Bonbon. Went there a couple of weeks ago to try out Hankatten. It had me laughing - good ride. Interesting to see how the rest of the gang feels.

Since it's been a while that a computer's battery lasted long enough for me to get a chance to type - I have some serious catching-up to do. First up is Farup Sommerland. I can honestly swear that I've never said "You'll NEVER see THAT at an American amusement park" more times in a single day: paddle boats for children with no life jackets; an obstacle (sp?) course where it was easy to get hurt; huge green bouncy mats where kids were literally flying all over the place. I loved this park. I especially liked the fact that dogs were welcome (they had to be leashed, however). Next up was Djurs Sommerland. We only had a two hours here, but I liked the place quite a bit. It was beautifully landscaped and the place was spotlessly clean. Next was Tivoli Friheden. This was a small ride park in the middle of a larger city park. Some of the rides were very unique and the fun house had some cute effects I've never seen in any other fun house. Now, we're on our way to BonBon Land. I have high-hopes for this park. More soon. Missing everybody back home.

Some days are leisurely and some days are rushed. Today is the most rushed day yet. 3 parks in one day and about 6 hours total on the bus. We began at Djurs Sommerland where we experienced some very unique attractions: Thor's Hammer Gerstlauer coaster before the park opened, a well-themed Topple Tower (my first) and a Jungle Cruise-like boat ride that was long and entertaining. Terrific theming throughout the park. Tivoli Friheden was our next stop. We had less than 2 hours to experience its 3 coasters and other rides. Plus, most of us needed to get a bite to eat since we won't be fed until 7pm. Tivoli Friheden is a beautifully landscaped park with great rides in a forest setting in the middle of a city. In addition to the coasters, there was Pegasus, a spinning ride that resembled a Chaos ... but better. Very good fun house and a unique dark ride, too. Next stop, BonBon-Land and my 600th coaster.

Today has been terrific so far but a bit rushed. The first park today was a lovely family park and we could have used more time there. We did ride the coasters and take a realy nice train ride around the park to see everything it had to offer. The second park we had enough time for the coasters and the fun haunted dark ride. We grabbed a burger on the run at Mr. Big - Eat the American Way. The logo was of a guy that looked like he had WAY too many burgers. We are currently on our way to park number 3 for today which looks like a very interesting place. Hopefully I can write again before the trip is over - if the laptop gets back to me in the back of the bus! Deb

Today two parks down and one to go. At Djurs Summer Land we had an ERS on Thor's Hammer a very long wild mouse type coaster, then we had one hour free time in the park. Next was Tivoli Friheden, once again another quick stop to ride, the Dragen, Rutschenbansn, and Tyfone. Tyfone lacked the spinning. The park has a very good dark ride which is not to be missed.

Odd Arne Roste
Two parks (so far) this day. We started at Djurs with an ERS on Thor's Hammer, a really nice Gerstlauer bobsled coaster. one hour in the park to get the credit from Karlo's Taxi and do some other rides. Next stop Tivili Friheden with three more credits. I would have liked to have some more in these two parks to do more of the non coaster rides.

Kjetil Roste Ringen
2 parks so far and oh my god what a rush. Its like 2 hours in one park and you NEED to get all the coasters! It can turn abit frustrating but I think most made it. Djurs is quite much the same as Faarup, much stuff for kids (yay!Thor's Hammer was OK, but abit slow. The coaster with a loop in Tivoli Friheden was very horrible (lets just say that the loop in tusenfryd is better, ouch!) But the wild mouse;like thing was quite good. With the right, or wrong - depends how you see it, you could get a quite nice spinning going on. BonBon-Land, here we come!!
