The last day at Tivoli was chilled and relaxed, for me the trip ended on a high note with the ERS in the early hours of the morning. My favourite ride and biggest surprise of the trip was Han-Katten at Bonbon, biggest disappointment would have been Falken. Too many parks were great to pick a favourite, and they really put the parks in the UK in a bad light. I think the group size was perhaps too big and two coaches may have been a better number. The large group meant that it fragmented into smaller camps a lot of the time and I didn't get a chance to speak to friends from previous trips (sorry Mike, Kammy and Maggie!). There were also comments made along the lines of favourites being on coach 1, which were unjustified. Also some members need to learn how to ride the front row of a scenic coaster rather than getting upset and throwing their toys out of the pram when people jump into their seats further up the queue line.

A relaxing morning at Tivoli for the final day. Weather started to close in and we left in the rain. Hard to sum up the trip in total. I can't pick a favourite ride (I don't do Top 10 lists!) but the whole trip was very enjoyable for me. Nice to meet some new people and put well known names to faces. Thanks Maggie and Kat for showing concern for my foot and ribs! I'm fine - honest! As with all trips a few 'moments' along the way but nothing that I could consider important enough to warrant some of the actions or comments from some members. Thanks as always to all concerned (Trip Monkeys, Park Staff and Owners, coach drivers etc).

WOW!!!! Tivoli! I have wanted to come to this park since I first heard of it, and it was all that I ever dreamed it would be and more. ERS until 1:30 am was too amazing for words, and I loved the food, rides, and beauty all around me. I am so glad we had 2 evenings and part of a day there. It is officially one of my favorite places in the world. Thanks, Andreas, for all your generosity and hospitality - you are TOO fun!

The last day was spent in the most perfect place you could spend a day, Tivoli Gardens. A great lunch followed what was a fun day of repeat riding.

Last night we visited Tivoli Gardens for a late ERS, possibly the latest ERS in club history... midnight to 1.30am! Rutschebanen in the dark was fantastic, and the ERS also included Daemonen, Star Flyer and bumper cars. Susan did her first (and possibly last) star flyer...200 ft tall chair-o-planes! Today we had more time in the park, and a lunch, before our journey home. All in all it has been a great trip, with some fantastic parks, many we will want to come back to in the future. Thanks to all involved in the organising of the trip.

A fun night at Tivoli mostly riding Daemonen and then the bumper cars over and over until 01:15. A lovely park with a firework display and a late Multi ERS session. Thank you to most members for making Becky, my wife, feel so welcome on her first Club trip, I appreciate not all members approved of the age difference but hey love is love. This trip was part of our honeymoon which now continues in America. Hope to see most of you on future Club trips. Many thanks to the drivers and staff of all the parks and to all who helped organise this trip.

Tivoli at night is excellent with a really good firework. And 4 open rides for us from midnight til 01.30. I did at least two rides on Daemonen, Rutchebanen, Bumpercars and the biggest thrill, the StarFlyer. I loved these ERS's that Tivoli gave us.
The whole trip was excellent, with a slow start, but a veeeeeery hectic end, Liseberg to Denmark. I can't imagine how much time Justin and all the trip team used to make this an unforgettable trip. Thank you vandy much!

A night to remember. when the park was open although it was busy the queues were managable. The the mine train i found to be great, going round over and over again (something like5 or 6 times) despite a largish queue. after a fab fireworks display they opened up 4 rides just for us. I was happy enough staying on the floorless coaster called Doemonen. I only got off once during the ers. i don't count rides but i reckon i must have down over 20 consecutive rides mostly on the back and front seats.
The whole trip was great and produced loads of very great moments and rides. A big thanks to all people envolved in organising and running the trip, see ya all at oakwood in 2 weeks time!

A great trip is over now and the last part of it was a brilliant ERS in Tivoli. We never rode a coaster after 1 am before. It is a great experience in a park that is only open to the club. It is time to say thank you to all the people in the parks who were responsible for the great fun we had, especially a very big thank you to John and his trips crew, our coach captain, David "Miau" Ellis, and of course Justin.

Tivoli and flight home-more good food, a last hurrah on the woodie, now we have to snap back to reality and fly home :-( I'd like to say a big thank you to all the trips team, and everyone who made this trip a brilliant one. Hats off to you all! :-)

Another excellent and tiring trip over with. I need a holiday now! Thanks to all the people, both club and park who made this experience possible. Roll on the next adventure...

Hard to believe the trip is over, each day more surprising and fun filled than the day prior. The night ERS at Tivoli was an unprecidented opportunity and a true mind blowing rxperience. Dancing with Keith to the swingband was a highlight. A perfect evening and a great ending to a wonderful tour. Thanks to all who planned such a great experience and the folks from coach 1 who made the long rides pass quickly. P.S. George keep your hands to yourself!

Huge thanks to everyone involved but I thought that the drinks were included. Enjoyed Malmen Parken the most. 4 Koff everyone :)

Greatly enjoyed the trip. Some stunning attractions; coasters, drops, dark rides, and local wildlife (especially in Sweden), though the real highlight remains hearing about Martin taking two days to visit a closed park in Estonia. Malmen Parken absolutely fantastic. Over a thousand coasters now with an imaginary count of at least fourty-seven. Looking forward to the Schwarzkopf Inverted Log Flume on the next trip. All your base are belong to us. Quidquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. C'est tout!

this was my second trip and the longest and most tiring . i liked all the swedish blondes and most of the Copenhagians .my most favourite ride was the free fall at grona lund and my favorite park was linnamaki in hellsinki (due to the fact that I think it was the sunniest day ) I would like to thank all the people that organised the trip .... It was EXCELLANT! p.s there is a blonde over there and she is really good looking.

I have to translate that one: Many thanks to the team in charge of the trip, it was perfect as usual.

Two evenings and half a day Sunday at Tivoli Gardens is the best way to end this great journey. This is the place where Walt Disney snagged all his ideas for Disneyland, etc. Tivoli is the first themed attraction in the world, dating back to the 1550s. This gem continues to shine. I was impressed with The Star Flyer at 200 feet tall was quite an experience. What a rush! The Ruschbanen was as good this time as my first visit in 2001. Demonen was fine too. My only negative was that there were quite a few burnt out light bulbs throughout the park (on signs, strings of lights, chase lights, etc.) (Dont worry Knoebels, you continue to have the most working lighgts of any park Ive visited on three continents!)

Is it time for a pint yet?
