Had another great visit to Bakken. The Rutschebanen coaster was as airtime-filled as ever, and the usual beer inside the structure went down well! This was our third trip to Bakken, the world's oldest amusement park, and so we had ridden most of the rides and attractions before, but Mine Train Ulven was again one of the highlights in this park. Susan decided to give the fun house a miss, given her slight mishap at the one at Grona Lund. Meal was nice again, albeit with a long queue of hungry people. Can't get the Han Katten music from Bon Bon Land out of my head! I hope all on Bus 3 enjoyed the singing! Coming close to the end of the trip now. Hitting Tivoli Gardens tonight and tomorrow. Hi to Puss and Geri back home!

Great day at Bakken which has a nice scenic railway. Gorgeous views from around the lakes & lots of wildlife! 5D Cinema was fantastic, we went to the Haunted House show. Food was really nice, ribs were particually messy! Peter, me & many others on the trip agree, this was the worst hotel of the trip. Looking forward to Tivoli tonight!!

Day number 10 at the Fun Factory and what a great day it was! Bakken is always a fun place. It is basically a permanent carnival with great rides that are independently owned. There must be 30+ restaurants as well. The scenic railway, Rutschebanen, continues to deliver great fun. (I knew when we first entered the area underneath the ride this morning for a welcome by park boss Ole and smelled the fresh creasote, it was going to run well.) Bakken really maintains their coaster quite well. Ulven Mine Train was again good. The auto ride (Indy 500) was a find, as they are rapidly disappearing. The fun house was lively with things you will never see in America again. The ghost train was fun. The only disappoinment was the walk thru (which is 20 additional kroners). Most of the stunts didn't work. All in all a great day out. Tonight - Tivoli Gardens - yahoo!

What a great day at Bakken. The scenic railway is a real treat. The brakeman always talked with us when we rode in the back. The coaster appears to well taken care of by the park. The mine train and the flitzer were also great. The flitzer is one the best I've ridden. Lunch, as other park meals have been, was very good. A fun time at Bakken, and now looking forward to an evening at Tivoli Gardens. This has been a great trip for us. Thank you ECC trip planners. We look forward to more fun and traveling with you in the future.

Just reading back what the others thought of bakken, and I guess the reviews are good. Been there a million times, so I'm finding it hard to review it. The Rutschebane session this morning was a first. Never been inside the structure.

Bakken: my third visit to Bakken, not changed much, a few new rides. We had a fantastic ride on the scenic and beer was flowing in the garden, and one of the ride ops, took us up the exit, in the ride, where he made the coaster fly, without too much braking. we had a fantastic time.
Tivoli: As beautiful, as ever. Some great rides, the floorless, Demonen is a good ride, but Rutschbanen is still the best ride on the park, it was wet and going very fast. Saturday night, the one and a half hour ERS on the four rides was incredible, riding at night makes a difference.
Thanks to everyone for organising this trip, we've had an incredible time, met new friends, including Hakan our coach driver, another great trip. THANK YOU.

Bakken: Third visit, park much the same as last time. Rutschbanen, still a great ride.
Tivoli: The ERS was great, and two surprise evening visits to soak up the atmosphere-excellent.
Another great trip. See some of you at Oakwood in 12 days time!!

Another great day, more free beer (Hell,i'll have to start drinking alcohol again-I'm missing out) more great coasters - i liked the little Flitzer "Racing." More good food, and weather wasn't too bad. Night time at Tivoli was a dream - midnight riding on Demon and Rutschebanen for 1 and a 1/2 hours!

Bakken was an awesome park but I felt we spent too much time here. We ended up spending a significant amount of time sitting in bars enjoying the alcohol. The hospitality at this park was great particularly the brakeman making his way to work who shouted "coaster geeks!!" at us. Evening was spent with a killer ERS at Tivoli where we had the shaky Deamonen, Crazy dodgems, Sublime Scenic & shit scary starflyer to keep us busy from midnight to 1.30 in the morning.

A return visit to Bakken for me. Much the same as in 2003 but an enjoyable day with good hospitality as always. Perhaps the time spent there was a little more than necessary but it was nice to have a beer and snooze in the Rutschebahn "Garden"! An unprecedented 90 minute ERS on four rides followed at Tivoli which was superb. Seeing the lights of Copenhagen at 1.00am from 180' up the Starflyer was very memorable. B&M Deamonen was compact fun but a little juddery. Bumper cars and scenic were fun too.

Beginning the day on the scenic railway was a delight. The airtime in the back seat was amazing, and I loved my visit to the world's oldest amusement park. Thanks, Bakken managers and owners, for a great day.

Bakken was fun, touring with a group of newbies who simply loved Mine Train Ulven, even with a strict, nun type, ride operator who simply refused to let us choose a seat. After lunch I hit the tired wall, and unfortunately was ready to depart.
An evening in Tivoli is just the perfect way to spend a night, but throw in an hour and a half of ERS an it became unforgettable. The Star Flyer is one intense ride that was quite a test of my nerves. Then came the bumper cars marathon which Keith Johnson respectfully declined to join in on; CHICKEN! Ending the night on the Rutschebanen was a must, and completely incredible in the backseat.

Bakken merite largement la journee que nous y avons passe et le Rutschebanen reste un de mes scenic railway favori. La surprise du soir, le parc pour nous tous, seul sur quatre attractions ouvertes jusqu'a 1h30 du matin: wahouuuuuuu

Today Bakken and a classic Scenic railway. A bit rough for me but still enjoyable. As a local to Dreamland in the UK this is what I love about being a coaster enthusiast and that's finding other parks with similiar rides of the same make. The unexpected surprise was the runaway mine train that didn't look much but was impressive once we were on it. Also had an amazing Lunch. Tonight it back to Tivoli Gardens and a few ERS Surprises looking forward to that..

Another spectacular scenic railway, and a good after burner spinner. Bakken also had a great Fun House. Scenic smells of creosote. Tivoli they had a great firework display with brilliant colours, including the striking reds. K.wheels on top of the theatre.
