Wow, what a park. Having waited 17 years to visit Cedar Point it didn't dissapoint. Magnum XL 200 was a real suprise, as the park have somehow managed to keep the ride smooth. Continual riding on the ERS is something I wouldn't consider doing on any of the other Arrow Hypers. Dragster however, was the real highlight of the park for me, living up to all the hype and delivering where Kingda Ka fails. The older train and restraint design and the overall theme just seems to work so much better than its sister ride over in New Jersey. See you soon Claire!

There's something very special about Cedar Point that other mega-parks don't have. Whether it's the staff or just the location I'm not sure. But, we had a riot. The ERS on Dragster was a trip highlight (so far!) and Magnum was a great way to end - it's running so well. It's a shame that Hotel Breakers was a disappointment. Whilst the hotel itself is very nice, with an amazing location, the staff really let the place down. How hard can it be to send a postcard? Amazing day though!

After hearing so much about Cedar Point it was hard not to have high expectations of this park and it's rides. A two night stay at Breakers Hotel which is located right in the park. View from the hotel room showed Top Thrill Dragster, Millenium Force and Magnum - Unique! The level of service in the hotel however wasn't anywhere near what it was in it's earlier 'Grander' days. Just because it has a captive audience and a great location doesn't mean that standards or levels of service should be less then expected. Late evening ERS On Top Thrill Dragster was incredible. For me a far superior and much better ride over Kingda-Ka. Lapbars rule! Morning ERS on Millenium Force certainly blew the cobwebs away. Had ridden it in the previous evening when it was running seriously fast too. A long day followed but an enjoyable one. The selection of coasters is quite amazing and run in a great way. Staff and ride ops were really friendly and efficient. Questionable laser and firework show however. Oakwood's fireworks put Cedarpoints to shame and it was overly 'God Bless America' cheesy style. ERS on Magnum (without the trim brake for 2 circuits) showed how Magnum was in its wilder days. A great way to end the day! Thanks for the hospitality and pats to Snoopy!

FANTASTIC - thanks to Robin and the ride ops for our three great ERS's on TTD, MILF and the truly awesome Magnum XL.

Wicked Twister was most excellent. But the true highlight of the day was the ERS on the Top Thrill Dragster. What an incredible ride, much better then Kingda Ka even if it is 36ft shorter,it had a quicker launch and much better theming. Millienum Force was faster then I remembered, I loved every second of it.
Midas van de Graaf:
What a day at Cedar Point. Almost the perfect birthday I could wish for myself. The Top Thrill Dragster ERS was excellent, as was the one on Millennium Force. I didn't get to ride TTD in the front but hey, there's always a reason to come back. I also liked Raptor a lot. If you don't have a good time at Cedar Point there must be something seriously wrong. Thanks for having us!
Breaker's Hotel Staff.
"I'm sorry sir, I can't help you with that. Perhaps if you come back at a time where I'm not around someone else can deal with whatever problem you might have"

Having been to Cedar Point before, Its hard not to like the place, and once again it didnt disapoint. Staff are amazing, the rides are operated superbly and its just an great place to visit. Also today was a quiet day but do you think CP would operate their rides on lower capacity, well not really as pretty much all rides were operaing at full capacity meaning at least well over half their rides were a complete walk on, talk about heaven.

Hi Liz, Crystal and Karl. This park is in a beautiful setting right on the lake. There are some good coasters. Dragster I wanted to ride for a long time and it didn't dissapoint. Very friendly and helpful staff loading rides the queue lines kept moving. The longest I queued was 35 minutes. But I'm afraid the hotel was a bit of let down. Having stayed in park hotels like Europa, this was no different from a Comfort Inn.

The value of the ERS showed through here with 6 rides on Top Thrill Dragster at night followed by a lot of rides on Millennium Force first thing the next morning as well as a final session on Magnum. This left the rest of the park to be explored at leisure and with a nice break for food. Excellent park, looks like Blackpool on steriods with all the rides on the skyline.
Bart Van Goethem
We got some excellent ERS's Cedar Points best coasters. I really enjoyed it! Still it misses some darkrides ;)

In Ohio it is illegal to get a fish drunk, and judging by the bars being closed when we got to the hotel, us too. Cedar Point is a really decent park with one great coaster and several other average ones. Dragster is of course the best ride in the park and beats Kingda Ka easily. It's themed and you can walk to the other end of the track to see close up how fast it is; neither is true with Kingda. Ride Ops are great here and have some very good spiel on the microphones.

Cedar Point, the only Park on the trip that I have been too, 3 years ago to the day. After Geauga Lake, we made our way to Cedar Point, and the Breakers Hotel. A short while after checking in, we ventured into the park. A few rides on Mantis and Millennium Force, before our ERS on Top Thrill Dragster. Well, My 3 year wait for TTD was worth it, and I managed two rides on the evening ERS. My first ride, front row, in the dark, a truly amazing ride - very fast and smooth - much much better than Kingda Ka, and now, TTD is one of my favourite rides ever. The following day, we had an early start with an ers on Millennium Force - still an amazing ride. I spent the day riding all my favourite Coasters at the Park, a further 2 rides on Top Thrill Dragster, and numerous rides on Raptor, Mantis, Mean Streak, Wicked Twsiter etc. I rode Skyhawk, which is great, but a bit too short, and our day finished with an ERS on Magnum XL-200 - Which was flying round the track. An amazing day, at Cedar Point - my favourite Park.

With my last visit in 1995, it was fantastic to get back to the Point. The fantastic smorgasbord of coasters was just as I remembered, only much larger. The park looked after us very well on the ERS side, and a good job for us with the queues for TTD topping 3 hours early in the day. So far as I could see, the whole Club had a great time, and made the day their own, whether racing round the park or taking the opportunity to chill out in the hotel pool. It really was a day for everyone to make their own. Since I lost my 1995 baseball cap on Blackpool's Revolution a few weeks ago, it was a well-timed chance to restock on merchandise (something I rarely bother doing in theme parks). Defining moment: TTD. It beats Kingda Ka hands down. Worst moment: sludgy check-in at Breaker.

I have been looking at pictures, videos, and maps of Cedar Point for years. So it was a little unrealistic to finally be in the park. But the park is a great park, and we were lucky with the queues. Millennium Force disapointed me in the morning, but when i rode it at the evening it really kicked ass! Also TTD is a really great coaster too, i really love the launch and when you go over the top, and can see straight down.
Michael Badelt
What can I say? My feet hurt. Guess that's really good since it means that I almost saw every corner of the park. Coasters all around. Almost seemed a bit unreal to finally be there. Surprise of the day: Disaster Transport - Who would have thought that this ride could be so much fun. Highlight of the day: Millenium Force in the dark - Totally different animal!!!!

I have been waiting to come to Cedar Point for many years, and it is like a dream park for me. I had a great time beginning with our kick-ass ERS on Top Thrill Dragster, and I managed to get 5 rides on it. The next morning gave me a major wake up on Millenium Force, and the first drop and speed of it was awesome although the coaster lacks airtime. In the evening when I rode it again, it had gained more speed and was a totally different ride including having airtime. I also loved Wicked Twister and Mantis, my first B&M stand-up coaster. Finally, we had a good ERS on Magnum XL-200 to end the CP trip. This is a great park over all, and I am very happy with the ERS's on the major rides so that I had more time in the day to easily ride all the other coasters. Without those ERS's, we would not have had such a great time in the park because we would have been standing in line so long for those major rides. I greatly appreciate Robin Innes and the CP team for all they did for us. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!
Yvonne Janik
What a great day and a half at Cedar Point! I loved every minute at the park and also totally enjoyed the view of the coasters from my Breakers' hotel window. I still love Magnum XL-200 the most and was thrilled with the way it was running - especially in our night time ERS. Thanks, Robin Innes and the CP folks who made all this possible. Your generosity to us was so great.

I knew if I went to Cedar Point on enough occasions I'd eventually hit on good weather. A beautiful, clear sunny day, ideal for coaster riding and photography. If super-sized amusement parks are your thing, then the Point does it better than anyone. Special thanks to the beautiful, stunning, gorgeous Janice Witherow and her son Mathew, who displays wisdom beyond his tender years.
David & Susan Ellis
Cedar Point - three great ERSs, loads of coasters, small queues, good weather. Apart from the poor check-in the stay here was excellent. Top Thrill Dragster was much more re-rideable than Kingda Ka, with a smooth ride in every seat and no OTSRs. Millennium Force was an excellent wake-up call, and a 30-minute session on Magnum a fitting way to finish. I was lucky enough to get on one of the trains with the trim brake off and it was flying. Some long days ahead now... hope the weather holds out.
David Harrington
Fantastic!
Chris Simon
A great day and a bit! Staying onsite at Cedar Point was brilliant... the park itself is as enjoyable as ever. TTD is far better than KK... now beginning to appreciate it! Construction on the latest attraction was evident..."We're goin in a whole new direction". Hmmmm.
Lutz Konerding (typing this at 6.45 in the morning...)
If any park management is looking for a training facility for park staff: send them to Cedar Point. Coasters well mantained and perfect loading/unloading procedures. The ERSs on TTD (night), MF and Magnum (night) were awesome. When was the last time you had the chance to get off the train and enter the one in front of it (as seen on TTD and MF) or stay in the seat for seven consecutive rides?
Chris Penn
Well Cedar Point is simply the best park, so much to do and great coasters, Top Thrill Dragster being the best. It's a fantastic park.
Tim Tipler
What a fantastic place Cedar Point is. Lots of coasters with Top Thrill Dragster being the best. Jan and James speak to you on Thursday. Having a great time.
Bob Clark
Cedar Point - The legendary Breakers Hotel - 11 Coasters visible from the bedroom window - it doesn't get better than this - until you get into the park.
Darren and Mary
Darren was in heaven at Cedar Point he rode all the coasters to excess, well all but one. Thank you everyone who gave Darren encouragement and support to persuade him to ride Top Thrill Dragster, he is just not yet comfortable with launch coasters - maybe next time. Excellent stay at Cedar Point.

After a poor check in procedure that wasted 45 minutes in the park we had a great last hour in the park. I enjoyed the ERS on Top Thrill Dragster. The next day I enjoyed 2 x ERS sessions on Millennium force in the morning and Magnum in the evening. Managed a ride on the last Top Thrill Dragster of the night before heading for the Magnum ERS. I personally prefere Dragster to Kingda Ka. Found a sheep & goat petting area after feeding the ducks during the day.
Paul Hindle
Agree about the check-in - Breakers seem to be trading on their name and location.
Otherwise had a great time riding everything in sight. Apart from MF and TTD I always enjoy Mean Streak, Raptor and Mantis, though I refuse to go on the awful Gemini, Corkscrew and Iron Whatsit (the bucket ride). Fourth time at CP - I'll be back!
Peter Procter
Hey - Gemini and Corkscrew are great, the former especially - very smooth with great airtime. It even raced this time! Well, Coney Island was good. Wait no, what day is it? Cuffyloohah kakaaaaaaa kingda kingda Kingda KA. My second visit to The Point, nice again. I even talked to some girls in the bar last night (a couple of beers helped :p) ! Meow ello Squeek...
Steve Davies
We benefitted from this park being one of the players in the "coaster arms race" here - not one ride on "America's roller coast" I didn't enjoy. Whilst the coasters speak for themselves, the ride ops were entertaining, geeing up the riders beforehand - those on the racing Gemini especially! ERSs on Dragster, Millenium Force, were great, The nightime ERS on Magnum with the trim brakes off was - well - WEYHEEEE!!!!
Lorna & Adrian Dade
Great Park, Dragster is the best coaster!! Gemini was a great ride, Millenium force was also good, Mean streak was smooth (we did have the front of the train) Overall a great day and a half had by all.
Derek & Maggie (i mean Val) Cromarty
A great park, enough variety of rides for everyone. Top Thrill Dragster was great as was Millennium Force. The other rides were reasonable especially the derby racer. Hello Maggy & Jim
James "Spinner" Hannaford
So we reach the last of the Parks that I have done before and Dragster has once again left its mark. It did the same two years ago. The most amazing Ride in the World (Kingda Ka should be Taken Down and rebuilt). Also saw Foundations for new Ride for next year Intamin Track. Spoke to someone in the Museum who said he had searched "Cedar Point Rumours" on Google and there were 700 Rumours and he gave up on number 400 which was an Intamin Carousel. LMAO
Ole Bredesen-Vestby
I did this park in 2001, and have wanted to come back ever since. TTD was amazing, and much better than Kingda Ka. Had a relaxing day since I didn't have to race around the park doing all the coasters. Just took the best ones. Also loved the night ERS on Magnum XL-200. Managed 7 runs.
Even Stangebye
Good to finally reach Coaster-Mecca! I managed to ride 5 coasters between 21.20 and 22.00 last night before the great ERS on TTD (which leaves Kingda Ka way down my Top Coaster List). But why use up all the speed on brakes - the next accelereated coaster should start with TTD, continue into Rita QoS, boost into Storm Runner before ending with Stealth, Speed Monster and Kanonen! Heh!!! Who's got the money? Also great ERS on Millenium Force and Magnum XL 200!!
Nina Kleppe
I had a really good day at CP. 17 coasters in one park. Heaven. TTD was so powerful, and I loved MF. The first drop was amazing, and it just kept on going until the brakes. WOW. And it was fun riding it in the dark. I also got to do my 200th coaster, Magnum XL 200. That was cool.
Odd Arne Roste
Cedar Point was like coaster heaven. I did all the 17 coasters with a little help from a kid on jr. Gemini. We had some really good ERSs on TTD, MF and Magnum, but started the last one in the ejector seat which gave me some new bruises on my thighs. I love stand up coasters and Mantis didn't let me down. I love to feel the Gs in the knees.
