We have thoroughly enjoyed the trip so far, as in previous trips the parks and their hospitality have been excellent. Fårup Sommerland is a really nice park and it was great to visit the park for the press day for their new Falken coaster, which is a great addition to the park. Claire loved the speedboat ride and spent a while on there. As for the rest of the park it had a great selection of rides in a heavily wooden area.

A great day. The ride was nice and powerful in a beautiful park. The other coasters were also good - one of the best Reverchon spinning mouses I have been on.

Fårup - Private day at the press opening of their new wooden coaster. Amazing to have a whole park operational for just 60 people! Beautiful park hidden in the forest with a fantastic new wooden coaster. Loads of floating airtime. Exceptionally smooth ride. Very comfortable padded seats. The water park looks like it would be excellent as well; especially the inner-tube rapids. Something for a sunny day.... Top park.

A small park with very, very nice management and operators. This is how every park should be operated, checking but no lap bars pushed through your stomach. They’ve built a coaster that perfectly fits in their amount of rides and that rides really good. I’m curious at what they will do in the future and if this coaster gets in more people than last season. It really should do that!

Beautifully wooded park, reminded us of Knoebel’s. Fårup may have more trees than all US parks combined! :) Falken was great, our first S&S woodie. Falken had nice airtime and a very nicely themed tunnel. The park management/staff were very welcoming and hospitable. We will definitely go back to experience the rest of the park on a future trip.

A wicked park with a seriously cool wooden coaster, Falken. It was great at the front and great at the back. An excellant coaster all round. The park was great too with free t-shirts, ride photos and food. The speed Boats were well cool. You could get up a lot of speed. It was great!!!

Falken - Extra Tour, Extra Tour - PLEASE
Martha Amborn
Great coaster. We’re taking it back with us to the States!
Martin Valt
Once again a mid-sized woodie proved infinitely more fun than a giant one. A real winner!!!
Dave Hall
"Have 2 hours riding before the press arrive... have a free rain-mak so you don’t get wet... have a free on-ride photo... have a t-shirt... have as much free food, drink and beer as you’d like. We’ll open up more rides for you too so you don’t get bored..." Then they thanked US for coming! Don’t want to leave Denmark :-(

Fårup Sommerland is a great little park (a must visit). The new woodie as to be ridden to be believed, at 20 meters it only sounds small but packs a hell of a punch.
Jeff and Leslie Graham
Fårup extended unbelievable hospitality. The park allowed us to ride the woodie for 90 minutes before the opening ceremonies and gave us free run of the whole park and all of its rides, as well as an endless buffet of food and drink. The woodie rides better than many twice its size and is loaded with airtime and very cool tunnel. Justin called the park, Denmark’s Knoebels for all of its shade trees. You gotta visit this little gem of a park.

Wow! Falken, what a coaster. Has an amazing amount of airtime for such a small coaster, and is so deceptive. Front and back seats were both fantastic. Fårup Sommerland is such an attractive park, and today was yet another example of the Danes amazing hospitality. Free beer, food and, to top it all off, free merchandise. Brilliant!
David and Susan Ellis
Fårup Summerland’s new wooden coaster is Falken excellent! What a terrific day. We were privileged to ride on the very first train of passengers. What could possibly beat that? Well, we also got free ride photos, a free commemorative T-shirt, free food and beer. Falken is a superbly designed coaster, and for its height (66ft) produces a huge amount of airtime and fun!
Bart Van Goethem
The rain did not matter at all, Falken is such a good ride. Loved the superb airtime in the front. Fårup was so generous to us!! Free foto, t-shirt, drinks and lots of delicious food. Visit this park, don’t miss it!

Day 4 - Fårup Sommerland - Its not everyday you are treated to a park to yourself, today was one of those days - An amazing looking park with the greatest hospitality.
We are here for the launch of their brand new S&S wooden coaster ’Falken’ and what a ride it is. With a slight spot of rain it was running amazing well with heaps of airtime. Off to the ferry to Liseberg to a 5 star hotel. Can this trip get any better?

Wow Wow fun fun fun !!!

Surely one of the best days we’ve had has a Club in a park. Great new coaster, amazing hospitality and a superb wooded park. Thank you Fårup for an incredible day!
Stuart Milton
An absolutely fantastic day, no superlatives really do it justice. Awesome! A great new coaster, and superb hospitality.
Phil Ariss
Fårup today far exceeded expectations. Falken is amazing, airtime in each seat, fantastic at both ends of the train (very comfy as well). For such a small lift hill height, the ride is breathtaking. Not only is Falken superb, the park is also superb in near every department. Free food, drinks, empty park, terrific and friendly staff. By far the highlight of the trip so far.
Last night however, was quite different. As a surprise we visited Tivoliland, which was disappointing. The park seemed run down, and our first ride resulted in being evacuated from the lift hill of the parks boomerang! Very scary. Considering a short drive away is the amazing Fårup, why anyone would visit Tivoliland is beyond me!
Chris Bailey
No words can describe what a fantastic park Fårup is. Great staff, great food and one superb coaster. I think Falken was quite a surprise to some people, under estimating what it can do! Off to Sweden now - no more parks like Tivoliland please J

A great park in a forest setting, very picturesque, and what’s more, a great new coaster! A lot of speed and airtime is generated from a relatively small lift hill. The only thing that would have improved it was the weather! Very good of the park to open all of the rides for us - so we could explore the park. Fårup is a lovely park, and the free lunch went down very well too!
Marlon Scott
Falken was brilliant! When I first saw it’s shallow first drop, I was sceptical but I was happily mistaken! The coaster has good speed, fun curves and most important-airtime on each hill! Very nice floaters!
Park seems nicely wooded with lots of pine trees. I rode the other 2 coasters but wish I had more time to see the whole park and get a feel for the atmosphere. Looks like it might be a European version of our beloved Knoebels.
Great hospitality by our hosts. Great food and drink (more smoked salmon and red wine and desserts stoked my "furnace". Add free "Falken Tester" t-shirts and another awesome visit on this trip!
Lisa Scheinin
Fårup Sommerland is just beautiful! It was odd to see such a large park in this rural setting. The entire experience was non-stop delightful - lovely park, astonishing hospitality, and a brand new coaster that knocks your socks off! Falken is further proof that good things come in small packages!

Another day, and another (as the Brits say) brilliant park! Even though it was dreary and raining (just like Seattle), that didn’t dampen my spirits about the park and Falken. It’s a nice medium-sized coaster that runs well. At least four occasions for good, serious air-time.
It was fun to participate in a press day at a foreign park. There were all kinds of media-types all over the place. I’m sure many of them were unfamiliar with roller coaster enthusiasts. We gave them plenty of material to work from to compile their stories.
The park itself is also a treasure (some calling it the Knoebel’s of Europe) with it wooded site and rides jammed between all the trees and other vegetation.. Thank you for your generous hospitality!
Lindsey and Darren Hoy
What a fantastic experience - seeing the opening of a roller coaster, and then having our own "private" park, with rides open, but no public, so no queues!!
The Coaster was great, and was in keeping with the appearance and theme of the park. The speed boats were fantastic (although a little wet in the rain) and we felt like James Bond baddies doing donuts and leaping the waves in the water.
Thank you Fårup for a truly memorable day.
Midas van de Graaf:
Fårup is a very beautiful park on a normal day, with lots of green and areas to just sit and look around. The way they received us is absolutely unforgettable though. I can’t think of any other park that would even consider having nearly all rides running just for some coaster maniacs. And that still wasn’t all, the lunch was superb. Nice to have met Mr. Gerstlauer too. Falken is great, there’s airtime everywhere on the train. I can’t say if I prefer frontseat or backseat, it’s really quite good everywhere. Thanks to everyone who made this possible, also the ride operators who showed us around.
Jean-Marc Toussaint & Patrick Flumet
Falken is a fun, zippy, little ride. Excellent addition to Fårup, our favourite park on this trip. A big thank you to Soren and his staff for their wonderful hospitality.
Richard Bannister
It’s not every day you get to ride a coaster in the first train to ever run on it, and such an event is made even more special when it turns out to be a real stunner of a ride. Falken is one of the best wooden coasters I’ve had the pleasure to ride. It serves as yet another example that height and maximum speed of a coaster are secondary to the quality of the design. If only all coasters this height were quite so much fun. I clocked up a total of 36 circuits over the course of the day. Fantastic.
