If you can't get to an amusement park today, what's the next best thing? A virtual white knuckle ride, or a browse through The European Coaster Club picture archive, of course!
This page lists virtual rides around the Internet, along with some showing UK coasters created by the European Coaster Club.
These files are in a number of formats, including Apple Quicktime, Windows Media and MPEG (which can be played by both Windows Media and Quicktime players)
Be warned that the files are rather large (the sizes are shown in the detail pages) and so may take some time to download. The videos were created without soundtracks (on purpose) and are normally complete rides, from start to finish. Please excuse the shaky camera work in places; holding a camcorder steady on a fast moving ride isn't easy! (Note that some of the rides featured do not normally allow riders to carry camcorders.)
For virtual rides held on most of the other sites, you'll find instructions for viewing the virtual ride on the site itself.
