So how can you join in with the great information exchange? First Drop is
great, but you can't interact with it. Enter the European Coaster Club mailing list.
If you are a current member and require information on changing your
subscription details then please take a look at the List Information Page
Below you will find the current ECC Mailing List rules. If you wish to
subscribe, please read through the Rules and click 'Accept' to continue to
the subscription page. On clicking 'Accept' you agree to the Mailing List
Rules and understand that your membership may be terminated if you do not
abide by them.
List Rules
- No defamatory comments about any other coaster clubs. (No flames)
- Your subscription to the ECC mailing will last so long as you are a member of the European Coaster Club. Your subscription will terminate when the next issue of First Drop (after the cancellation of your ECC membership) is sent out. (Basically, if you subscribed for 6 issues, your mailing list subscription would terminate when the 7th issue was due to be sent) - assuming you had not rejoined. You will be sent a reminder that your list access will terminate, should you have terminated your subscription to the European Coaster Club.
- Please make sure your full name can be viewed in every post to the ECC Mailing List. If possible please include your full name in the Name/From field of the post. Alternatively, if you do not wish to make permanent changes to your Mail clients settings, please make sure that your name is included at the bottom of your post or in your signature. This is to ensure that people know who they are talking too and can recognise people they have met on ECC Trips. If you need help on ensuring the above is completed please email the List Administrator.
- Advertising. You may advertise a personal site on the list, but only if you have new information or features that will be of interest to the List Members. Please only post the information once and only when the information is available online. You may NOT advertise events or commercial products that are not related to or endorsed by the ECC.
If in doubt please check with the List Administrator before posting.
- You may email individual members if you wish, but should any complaint of harassment or email abuse be reported your subscription to the ECC mailing list will be terminated. It may also be necessary to inform your Internet Service Provider of your actions. Replies to list mail are automatically set to return to the list. (This may change in the future)
- Attachments. There is an email size restriction of 40Kb. Should this get abused, the limit will be lowered.
- No Flame Wars.
- No HTML messages. Some email clients have problems with HTML messages.Please ensure any mails to the list are sent in "plain text" (information on how to change the settings of your email client can be requested).
- You may subscribe to the ECC list using more than one address (eg If you wish to post form work), but you have to complete the pre-subscription form again. If you wish to change your subscription address, please contact the List Administrator using the current subscription address, with your change of details.
- No Hoax virus warnings - please do not post virus warnings unless you've verified they are legitimate with one of the major
anti-virus software vendors

above and click Accept to be taken to the new pre-subscription page. Any
requests for subscription received without this form having been filled in
will be returned, with a request to fill in the form first.
